This is incredibly well written and inspiring. Iβm just starting out of substack. Iβve been writing in my notes app for the last year and have accumulated so much and never had anywhere to put it. Largely about how to get and stay sober while working and creating music and art in chaotic scenarios living in NYC with my band and in theater. But Iβm just getting started as far as I can tell.
What I love about your piece is that you really didnβt make it about the money and rapid growth but the fact that you actually like to show up here. And thatβs what Iβve found being on this platform. I have to be a character in my band and I absolutely love that but I can actually be real on here which engages another important part of my personality.
Your vulnerability makes point drive home even harder.
